What’s New Wednesday, “Summer Gear for Trout & Salmon”

Summer is officially here and Pacific Angler has been stocking up on all of your favourite gear.  The staff have been working overtime to receive a big order of salmon and fly fishing gear. What’s New Wednesday on Thursday, “Fly Tying Materials”

What’s New Wednesday, “Simms ProDry Gore-Tex Bib & Jacket”

Pacific Angler is proud to now offer the top of the line Simms ProDry Gore-Tex bib pants and jacket for the serious saltwater angler and lake fisherman. Jason Tonelli, Pacific Angler owner and saltwater guide has been field testing both the bib pants and jacket while guiding on the Salty Dawg over the past year. Flare is the theme for this weeks “What’s New Wednesday”.  Pacific Angler will be receiving some new glow and UV/Glow cannonballs tomorrow.  We’ve heard of some great results from anglers fishing locally and across on the island.  As well, Pacific Angler just received a shipment of flashers with glow tape on both sides.  Yes I said it…both sides!  The chinook salmon don’t stand a chance with this combo plus a fresh anchovy, favorite spoon or hoochie. What’s New Wednesday, “Perfect Diamond Jubilee Reel”

Pacific Angler, Vancouver’s fishing shop, just received an order of the very exclusive “Hardy Bros. Perfect Diamond Jubilee Reels”. A Limited Edition run of 250 reels were produced which commemorates the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the 140th anniversary of Hardy Bros., and marking 100 years since the introduction of the ‘1912 pattern check’. May & June Courses, Dates, & Availability

The lake fishing and saltwater season is officially underway.  Jason was out this weekend for the Mastering Local Saltwater Salmon course and had two exceptional days.  Not only did the students have a chance to learn from a seasoned guide but they even hooked up on big chinook salmon multiple times!
