Well since our last email about the hot chinook fishing we have had some great days out on the water at Thrasher and at Nanaimo as the runs of chinook salmon are now pouring into this area! This fishery is now in full swing, and as we enter the month of June things will continue to fish well for the next 4-5 weeks.

The crabbing has also been excellent with lots of big Dungeness crab in the traps after a productive day of chinook fishing!

Most of the fish we have been catching this last week have been in the mid to high teens, but there have been some fish in the 20 pound class, and even a few close to to 30 pounds!
