Fall Salmon Trips: This fall Pacific Angler is presenting guided trips on the Harrison River targeting coho on the fly. The Harrison River is a world class salmon fishery with good returns of coho, chum and chinook salmon as well as searun cutthroat trout. In the fall Pacific Angler targets bright chrome coho salmon that migrate to the Harrison River from mid October to the end of November. Prime-time dates are from the last week of October to the last week of November. You can expect good to great fishing in this time period, with double digit days not being out of the ordinary. This past week Andre got his guests hooked into some chrome coho. Check out the pictures below! Fly fishing with an integrated sink tip line and small flies is proven to be the most productive method for this fishery. Through years of experience Pacific Angler freshwater guide, Andre Stepanian, has developed specific methods and flies for this fishery. He is a master of this fishery and truly passionate about getting his guests into the most chrome coho salmon possible. You are guaranteed to have a great opportunity of catching coho on the fly with Andre as well as gaining his valuable knowledge through 1000s of hours on the water. Andre will be guiding you to his secret coho holes with a fully loaded 18 foot jet boat that has a full cover for those damp and windy days that can occur on the Harrison River.
