Special Report – Set Your Fishing Calendar Forward

As you may know we are seeing record temperatures across the province. You will want to set your fishing calendar ahead 2-3 weeks! This is great news for lake fishermen but you will want to get ahead of the curve. It is impossible to call it right now, but we have had seasons in the past where it gets too hot too fast. For the guys who got out early they had the best fishing of their lives but the guys who were little late struggled with warm water.

Lake Fishing Course April 18th

With this in mind we have a chironomid course taught by lake fishing expert and biologist Trevor Welton. This course is specifically designed to get you ready early so you can get out lake fishing in the next few weeks. The course is on Monday April 18th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at the shop and will cover advanced chironomid fly fishing techniques. The cost is $45. Space is limited so call in to reserve your spot today! 604-872-2204.

With chironomids and lake fishing in mind we also have a big shipment of The Conquering Chironomids DVDs, Volume 1 and Volume 2. These complement our course perfectly or if you can’t make the course the DVDs will get you tuned up for the season!

Chironomids

Good Luck and send in any lake reports you guys have.  We have seen that Tunkwa is already ice off! We will have more info on lakes in the Friday Fishing Report at the end of the week!
