Each year we wait in anticipation for the month of April. This is the month that we drift the Squamish River with the expectation of catching a chrome steelhead and feisty bulltrout feeding on fry.
The Squamish is a magical river flanked by snow capped mountains and glistening glaciers with mountain goats gazing down from the cliffs above. As it drains the Squamish and Elaho Valley it forms numerous runs and pools that are ideally suited to fly fishing. Join the Pacific Angler Guides as they man the oars of a 14 foot raft and guide you in search for bull trout, Dolly Varden, rainbow and steelhead. This river has something for everyone, from eager bulltrout for the beginner on a single hand rod, to elusive steelhead for the expert Spey fisherman, all in a tranquil and majestic environment only hours from Vancouver.
Your day starts with pick up in Vancouver. Your guide will take you up the logging roads to the put in point for the raft. The 14 foot raft was specifically designed for guiding our coastal streams and will transport you safely down the river while you stay dry and warm, enjoying the amazing scenery. After a full day of fishing we take the raft out at a predetermined point and you remain fishing while your guide retrieves the truck, returning shortly to pick you up. There is no down time for the angler, so you can soak up as much of the Squamish Valley as possible.
This full day package includes:
