This upcoming jam session will be all about steelhead flies.
If you haven’t joined us in the past, these jam sessions are relaxed, social nights for tyers of all experience levels - from first-timers to seasoned experts. Come hang out, tie some flies, share your favorite patterns and techniques, and (of course) talk fishing.
From classic patterns to modern intruders, we’ll be tying a wide range of steelhead flies. We’ll also have an awesome lineup of experienced tyers on hand to answer questions and share tips and tricks of the trade.

Eric Peake
If you missed out on taking Eric’s Intruder course earlier this month don’t miss this event. Eric will be at the tying table turning out a selection of steelhead intruders in a variety of sizes and complexity with an emphasis on material handling and composite loops.
Jay Awrey
Jay will be tying tubes all night long. Tube flies are a terrific platform for steelhead and salmon flies, allowing for some techniques specific to tubes that produce beautiful steelhead flies. Combined with the Aqua Flies and PSF tube accessories, it's easy to build lightweight, voluminous flies with lots of movement for big anadromous fish!
Mackenzie Champaigne
Mackenzie will be at the vise tying some of his favourite low water classics, and some tied with a modern flavor. He will predominantly feature natural materials and traditional styles like hairwings and featherwings.
