As our ecommerce business continues to grow, we're looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Product Data & Ecommerce Coordinator.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with technology, data, inventory systems, and ecommerce. You'll play a key role in ensuring products are accurately represented in both our Lightspeed Retail POS system and Shopify website, helping create an exceptional experience for customers shopping in-store and online.
Position Overview
Working closely with our ordering, marketing and retail team, you'll manage the flow of product information from supplier to customer. You'll be responsible for entering new products, maintaining accurate inventory records, publishing products to our Shopify website, and ensuring product information is complete, accurate and consistent.

Key Responsibilities
Product Information Management
- Create and maintain product records in Lightspeed Retail POS.
- Create, publish and maintain product listings in Shopify.
- Enter and verify:
- Product titles
- Descriptions
- Vendors
- Categories
- Collections
- Product tags
- Variants
- Pricing
- SKUs
- UPCs
- Product specifications
- Upload and organize product images.
- Review listings for missing information, incorrect pricing, duplicate products, or inconsistent data.
- Maintain product data standards across all platforms.
Inventory & Receiving
- Receive and process incoming inventory.
- Verify packing slips and supplier invoices.
- Investigate discrepancies with incoming shipments.
- Coordinate product receiving with the ordering team.
- Help organize warehouse and back-stock inventory.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
- Help maintain accurate inventory across Lightspeed and Shopify.
Ecommerce Operations
- Ensure new products are available online quickly and accurately.
- Organize products into appropriate collections and categories.
- Assist with CSV imports, bulk updates and product data cleanup.
- Review online products for missing images, descriptions or incorrect information.
- Help maintain website merchandising standards.
Ecommerce & Customer Experience
- Help ensure our ecommerce customers receive prompt, professional, and accurate communication throughout their shopping experience.
- Review, update, and maintain customer-facing communication templates, including email responses, automated notifications, and website messaging.
- Monitor incoming customer inquiries related to online orders, product availability, shipping, and general sales questions.
- Coordinate with the retail team as needed to ensure customer inquiries and orders are handled efficiently and accurately, including assisting retail team with picking and shipping orders
- Identify opportunities to improve customer communication and ecommerce processes to create a better overall shopping experience.
Product Content & Marketing Support
- Write and editing product descriptions.
- Prepare product images for the website when required.
- Work alongside the marketing team to ensure featured products and promotions are published accurately.
- Help maintain consistent product information across digital platforms.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory and ecommerce workflows.
- Help develop and maintain product data standards.
- Recommend improvements to inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Assist with documenting procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is highly organized, enjoys working with data, and takes pride in producing accurate work.
Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable working with computers and learning new software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Shopify or another ecommerce platform.
- Experience with Lightspeed Retail POS or similar inventory software.
- Previous experience with retail operations, inventory management or ecommerce.
- Experience working with CSV files and bulk product imports.
- Basic image editing experience is an asset.
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity or content creation is an asset.
- Interest in fishing or outdoor recreation is an asset, but not required.

Compensation Range - Based on Experience: $20/hour-$25/hour
