OUTLOOK August is almost upon us and weโre excited for some more great summer weather and fishing! We had a few slow mornings on the salt but overall the fishing has been consistent and will only continue to get better as we move into August. The mouth of the Fraser will open to chinook fishingโฆ
OUTLOOK June is flying by and we are looking forward to a great summer of different fishing opportunities. The winds have calmed down and the saltwater salmon fishing has picked up again over at Thrasher. Weโll be doing a little scouting locally as the fishing will soon be much closer to home. If youโre planningโฆ
OUTLOOK It was a hot, dry and windy one this past week! Lake fishing in the interior has slowed down over the last week due to the high temperatures. Itโs supposed to cool off so weโre looking forward to some improved lake fishing this coming week. On the saltwater weโre hoping the wind will dieโฆ
OUTLOOK Well weโve closed the driest May on record and are hoping for a little more rain in June! The Capilano River has remained very low with the lack of rain, making fishing difficult. If youโre heading out of town for the weekend Interior or Cariboo Region lakes should be a good bet for fishingโฆ.
OUTLOOK Weโre heading into a heat wave this weekend! If youโre looking to get out on the water and cool off Whistler Lakes have been fishing well and are a great option close to home. If you canโt get out on the water this weekend be sure to spend some time getting your gear readyโฆ

OUTLOOK We are heading into the long weekend with sunshine and great fishing in the forecast.ย ย Local river fisherman were hoping for a little rain to bring up the Capilano and some cooler temperatures to extend the season a few days on the Chilliwack and the Squamish, but that doesnโt look to be the caseโฆ.

OUTLOOK With just a few days left on the driest May on record since 1937 weโre looking forward to June and some of our summer time fisheries! With the warm dry river the Capilano River has been off to a slow start to the season. With little on the horizon for river fishing we haveโฆ
Outlook With the warm weather we had earlier this week those looking to fish the Squamish had to battle a rising river and limited visibility. Weโre hoping some cooler temperatures and a bit of rain will bring things back into shape and we can get some more days out on the water before spring freshetโฆ.
OUTLOOK Last weekโs rain didnโt materialize as predicted but we had some windy days out in the valley and in the harbour. That said we had some spectacular fishing throughout the week and hoping it will continue this coming week. There is nothing but sun in the forecast so now is the time to getโฆ
OUTLOOK Weโve enjoyed a beautiful stretch of sunshine and cool nights, which has lead to some great fishing this past week.ย ย ย ย The sun canโt last forever and we have some rain forecasted for this weekend and early next. OUTLOOK Batten down the hatches; it looks like another storm is on the way. A big rain is always welcome at this point in the season but weโre hoping itโs not too much to make the rivers unfishable. With any luck it wonโt blow them out and we expect a good bump of steelhead inโฆ
OUTLOOK Weโre welcoming March in with another week of sun. There are a few showers forecasted in the early part of next week, which will bring the rivers up and hopefully another bump of fish with it. Cutthroat season is almost upon us and there is no better way to get ready for it thenโฆ
OUTLOOK It looks like March is going to come to a wet close. We battled the wet, chilly weather ย hit the water throughout the past week.
