NES - Flat Magic Shooting Line

A shooting line that simply works, without stress, even in the most extreme conditions.

That was what we set out to build.

The mouth of the Teshio River, early winter 2023. We wanted a shooting line that lets you lose yourself in the fishing, even on a field below freezing.

The idea arrived suddenly and it was simple, but the road there was anything but flat. With existing lines there is no escaping stiffening and memory trouble at low temperatures. After countless tests, we concluded that our answer was not to be found anywhere along the line of ready-made materials.

Almost every line in the world is made by choosing from a package the factory specifies, but we made the decision to go back and rethink the very compound of the raw filament itself.

Formulation, construction, and coating method. All of it rebuilt from zero. It took two years to arrive at the optimum.

What emerged is the FLAT MAGIC SHOOTING LINE.

Since release, this line has been highly rated not only in Japan but also
by anglers in Canada, the United States and Europe, and it is now sold worldwide.

This running line comes on a 100m (328ft) spool and has a halfway marker at 50m (164ft)- as such, it is meant ot be cut and used to spool two reels. Alternatively, one can spool a reel and keep the remaining 50m as a backup to be used in the event of a damaged or lost running line... a fantastic feature for trips to remote destinations where a damaged running line can be disasterous.
