Coho Fly Tying Seminar with Andre Stepanian

Join Pacific Angler and world renowned fly tier Andre Stepanian for an evening of tying flies.  You will follow Andre step-by-step as he shows you how to tie his favorite coho patterns and unlock the secret to tying effective flies.  Students are required to bring their own fly tying vice, tools, and have a basic level of fly tying knowledge.  All materials will be discounted 10% for the night of the course.

Date, Time & Place: Tuesday November 8th, 6:30 to 9:30 PM, at Pacific Angler

Cost:  $20 (including taxes)

Coho On the Fly in the Lower Mainland

Fly fishing for coho in rivers is one of the most exciting fisheries in the Lower Mainland.  Your instructor, Andre Stepanian, will teach you the techniques and strategies used to fish effectively for coho.  You will then put theory into practice during a day on the water featuring demonstrations and person-to-person instruction.

Date, Time & Place:  Theory session, Thursday November 10th, 7:30 to 9:30 PM, at Pacific Angler; On-the-water session, Sunday November 13th, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Cost: $225.00 (not including taxes)

Introduction to Fly Tying with Ron Hjorth 

If you have been thinking about jumping into the world of fly tying then join master fly tier Ron Hjorth for 3 nights of tying flies, each lasting 3 hours.  Ron will cover the many techniques used to tie popular styles of flies used in British Columbia, such as dry flies, nymphs, chironomids, streamers, and general attractor patterns.

Date, Time & Place:  Session I, Tuesday November 15, 6:30 to 9:30 PM, at Pacific Angler; Session II, Tuesday November 22, 6:30 to 9:30 PM, at Pacific Angler; Session III, Tuesday November 29, 6:30 to 9:30 PM, at Pacific Angler.

Introduction to Fly Fishing

This popular course is an excellent way to get started in fly fishing.  Our knowledgeable and skilled instructor will teach you the basics of fly fishing during the theory portion of the course and then make you a competent caster during the practical portion.  Without a doubt you will be ready to jump into the world of fly fishing with a renewed sense of confidence!

Date, Time & Place: Theory Session, Wednesday November 23rd, 6:30 to 9:30 PM, at Pacific Angler; Practical Session, Saturday November 26th, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
